IB Studio ("Company") wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for Brushed-Finish Stainless Steel Luxury Chrome Shelf Set products purchased from us.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return for a refund. Requests received after 30 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
  • All accessories, tags, and included materials must be present
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided

For health and personal-care Brushed-Finish Stainless Steel Luxury Chrome Shelf Set items, the hygiene seal must remain intact. Items with broken seals are not eligible for resale and cannot be refunded for hygiene reasons.

3. How to Start a Return

Pack the item carefully and ship it back; we cover return shipping for our standard return reasons 4. Once received and inspected, your refund is processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Items marked "final sale"
  • Hygiene-sealed items where the seal has been broken
  • Items damaged due to misuse or wear and tear

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact support@ibstudio.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Due to the highly customized nature of the Brushed-Finish Stainless Steel Luxury Chrome Shelf Set, standard buyer's remorse return policies do not apply to all items. Any shelf or magazine rack ordered in custom widths—specifically those cut to exact lengths between 40 cm and 250 cm based on your unique specifications—is considered a bespoke, made-to-order product. Consequently, these custom-sized items are strictly non-refundable and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange simply because of a change of mind or an error in the customer's initial wall measurements.

Because these stainless steel shelves feature delicate hand-brushed chrome surfaces and can reach substantial lengths up to 250 cm, they are highly susceptible to mishandling during transit. If your shipment arrives with visible structural damage or deep surface scratches, you must refuse delivery or document the damage immediately with the courier. Claims for items damaged in transit must be reported to the IB Studio customer service team within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photographic evidence of both the compromised packaging and the damaged shelf, to qualify for a complimentary replacement.

Returns and replacements falling under our 20-year rust guarantee are handled through a distinct warranty protocol. If any part of the first-class stainless chrome exhibits abnormal oxidation or rust within the twenty-year period despite adherence to proper indoor care (e.g., kitchen or living room environments), the customer is eligible for a full product replacement. To initiate this process, the customer must submit photographic evidence of the rust formation alongside their original proof of purchase; IB Studio will then cover the return shipping costs for the defective unit and dispatch a replacement free of charge.

Consider two different return scenarios. In the first scenario, a customer orders a standard 40 cm classic wall shelf for their kitchen but realizes they prefer the magazine rack style instead. Because the 40 cm shelf is a standard, unsealed stock item, they can return it within 30 days for a full refund, provided it is in pristine, unmounted condition. In the second scenario, a bookstore owner orders a custom-cut 215 cm magazine rack for a book fair. Upon arrival, the owner realizes they measured incorrectly and the wall only has 200 cm of clearance. Because the 215 cm rack was custom-cut to their exact specification, IB Studio will reject the return request, as the item cannot be restocked or resold to another buyer.
